Estate Planning ... for individuals & couples
Many people believe estate planning is only for people who are wealthy, have elaborate schemes in mind for passing their money to their heirs, or for people who are acutely ill and contemplating their death.  This couldn't be farther from the truth.

Estate planning is for everyone who has someone they care about, who is concerned about providing responsibly for their future and for those they love, and who seek to make a difference in the lives of others after they're gone.

"Planning your estate through trusts, wills and final medical requests is personal and emotional.   Establishing and maintaining a corporation for your business and tax interests is technical and exacting.   For many years, Ted and his team have handled both aspects of our legal lives with painstaking accuracy, personal attention and continuous follow-up.

We’ve known Ted for over 30 years and we have every confidence in his legal advice and work product.   Besides that, he is a great guy and just fun to work with."

How do you do this?

At META law we take a handcrafted approach to each estate plan.  This requires a level of skill, technical expertise, sensitivity and customer service that we believe sets us apart.  The result is a truly unique plan custom-tailored to your needs.
Your Plan

Working with us, you will start with a conversation with an experienced attorney who will lead you through a discussion of your concerns, values and goals.  From this, we will be able recommend the type of plan that is right for you and present you with an estimate of our prices and a timetable for completing your plan.

"I would like to thank you all for the effort, professionalism, and care you recently put in updating my estate planning documents.

Your knowledge and exceptional care for us as clients is the very best.  Thanks to you I have confidence my family is cared for in the best possible way."
-   M.T., Fillmore

Once we begin to work together, we will ask you to provide us with the detailed personal and financial information we need to prepare your plan.  Next, you will meet with an experienced paralegal to discuss key choices you need to consider for your plan.

"Marilyn is wonderful! She helped me understand things I wasn't sure about. She made everything very easy, and I enjoyed working with her!"
-   S.M.S., Woodland Hills

Based on your choices, we will prepare the necessary legal documents and meet with you to explain and sign the documents.  As a final step, we will help you coordinate your assets with your new plan.
